Description: The Hacienda Santa Rosa

Near Santa Rosa, in the classical Maya period, flourished the urban center of Chunchucmil, which controlled the trade in salt gathered on the coast. . It was during the last quarter of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th that sisal began to be cultivated on a large scale. Santa Rosa, the property of the Garc¡a Fajardo brothers, was transformed with the addition of appropriate buildings, and its chimney still bears the legend H.F.G 1901.

Type of rooms: The Hacienda Santa Rosa

The rooms and suites are located at the original building which has been totally restored and adapted. All rooms are spacious with beautiful bathrooms with modern amenities.
Some rooms and suites has 23 feet height ceilings. All rooms have a hammock and rooms are decorated in a romantic 19th century style. Walls are painted with mineral colors and pastel tones.

Superior rooms (4 total): spacious rooms with back doors to the gardens. Some rooms have an exterior area to rest.

Junior Suites (5 total): bigger than superior rooms, has an exterior area to rest or a private garden with a miniature pool. Three of the suites share a pool and an enormous garden.

Suite (1 total): has a living room, a terrace and a private miniature pool.

Mayan Villa: located right in the middle of Aloe Vera fields, comfortable and with the style of an authentic Mayan Village. It has a terrace and on the opposite side an exterior bathtub.
