Description: CaeaclavelesWinner of the Asturias Architectural Prize 2012, Caeaclaveles enjoys a spectacular location overlooking the town of Llanes and the coast of Asturias. Set in huge lush gardens, and surrounded by the luxuriant vegetation of the foothills of the Sierra del Cuera, this design hotel is a unique project, combining a five-room luxury bed and breakfast establishment with the studio-residence of the owner and promoter, the artist Emma Fernández Granada.Just four kilometres from Llanes and its fabulous beaches, Caeaclaveles is an ideal point of departure to explore this magnificent region of Cantabria. A haven for outdoor activities, there are countless routes and trails for hiking, trekking and mountain biking, while there is also a network of coastal pathways, part of the European project linking the North Cape with Finisterre. Water sports enthusiasts will also be spoilt for choice, as the region is world famous for its surfing, and there are numerous fabulous beaches within easy reach of the hotel, including Torimbia, Toranda, Ballota and San Martín. Caeaclaveles offers comfortable accommodation in just five individually decorated, luxurious rooms. There is also an elegant lounge bar area, where breakfast is served in the mornings, and a terrace with sun loungers for relaxing moments in fine weather.
