Many of this unique property's traditional casas date back five-hundred years to the foundation of the village, and have been renovated and restored using ancestral techniques, reclaimed materials, and beautiful antiques, all by local artisans collaborating with designer Wilbert Das. Standing a short distance from the beach at Trancoso, Uxua Casa Hotel and Spa boasts an innovative organic spa, and on the beach itself, Uxua has restored an old fisherman's bar, featuring an ancient wooden boat with a natural palm thatched roof.
