How to get here: From London via M3 to avoid Winchester City Centre: Travel south on the M3 and take exit J8, A303 (Andover, Salisbury, South West).
Continue for 7 miles on the A303, take the turning for the A34 Winchester. Travel for 5 miles south on the A34.
Take the B3420 signposted for Winchester. At the roundabout (Three Maids Hill), take the B3420 Winchester.
Past the Army training Regiment Camp, take the next right turn over the brow of hill, sign-posted Harestock, onto Harestock Road.
Travel to the end of this road (approx 1 mile), and turn right in the direction of Stockbridge (B3049).
Travel half a mile, look for sign on brow of hill 'Lainston next turning on left', and Lainston is 150 yards on the right.
From the South via the M3: Leave the M3 at junction 11 (B3335), signposted for Winchester S&W.
Go straight across 1st roundabout, 2nd exit at second roundabout, onto Badger Farm Road.
Straight across next roundabout, 2nd exit next roundabout.
Go straight ahead through two sets of traffic lights.
Turn left at the mini roundabout into Chilbolton Avenue, follow to the end, then turn left into Stockbridge Road.
Proceed on this road for approximately 1 mile. On thebrow of the hill Lainston House is signposted next turning left.
Continue for 150 yards, Lainston House is 1st on the right.
