A recent addition is the unique Astronomical observatory, equipped with a roll-off roof and high quality computerised telescopes.

The restaurant at Hotel Rangá is an acclaimed gourmet restaurant overlooking one of Iceland's finest salmon rivers, the East-Rangá River. Firmly committed to the concept of the "Farmers Market" - using predominantly local ingredients of the highest quality and freshness following seasonal availability, the chef and his team create fabulous menus inspired by modern Nordic cuisine with a Mediterranean twist.

Standard Room:
Hotel Rangá has 24 standard rooms that provide guests with comfortable stay. In this category there are five rooms with queen-sized beds and 19 rooms with twin beds that can be put together on request, and most are equipped with Jacuzzis. The standard rooms face either the East Rangá River or the famous Mt. Hekla volcano. Room size 18 sq m.
