Description: Kilworth House Hotel and TheatreNestled in 38 acres of South Leicestershire parkland, Kilworth House Hotel and Theatre is a unique property, set in a magnificent late Victorian Italianate mansion, originally built for the High Sheriff of Leicestershire. With just three different owners in 120 years, this beautiful estate was painstakingly and lovingly restored between 1999 and 2003, and now offers luxurious accommodation, fine dining and a unique outdoor theatre in a delightful rural location.
Kilworth House Hotel and Theatre is host to a number of award-winning dining venues, including the Grade II listed Victorian Orangery, and the sumptuous Wordsworth Restaurant, the proud holder of two AA Rosettes. The emphasis in both restaurants is on using the finest locally sourced produce and ingredients in an imaginative and innovative way, with carefully selected wines for each dish.
Opened in 2007, Kilworth House Theatre is a magnificent facility with sail-like canopies that protect the audience and performers from adverse weather. Top-class productions are performed every season, of a standard rarely seen away from the West End of London.
