They are on the ground, 1st and 2nd floor of the house and provide varied views over the gardens and courtyard. Junior State Rooms: The French Room: The junior state rooms are beautifully decorated with rich fabrics and fine antique furniture. The period French furniture, large paintings and mirrors and lavish fabrics make this room distinctly French. Junior State Rooms: The Sheraton Room: This charming room has one king-size bed and is beautifully situated with magnificent views of the lake and wildfowl reserve. Containing only Sheraton period furniture it is decorated in soft tones and its walls are adorned with charming prints and watercolours. State Rooms: The Morland Room: This bright and enchanting room overlooks the lake through French doors on one side and woodland on the other. It is an elegant room decorated in rich colours with grey walls and magnificent fireplace. State Rooms: The Stopford Room: The spacious Stopford room is decorated in rich gold and blue and has a king-size four poster bed draped in fabric. The luxuriously appointed room with elegant fireplace and numerous antiques is probably the most romantic room in the hotel and overlooks the courtyard. The suite includes a separate dressing room and a large marble bathroom with double sinks, a free-standing bath and a separate shower overlooking the lake and woodland. Room size approximately 45 sq m. State Rooms: The Georgian Room: This room is richly decorated in ruby hues and is filled with elegant Georgian furniture. The two magnificent double beds are overlooked by a huge window onto the woodlands. French doors open onto the lake and wildfowl reserve. The elegant marble bathroom contains double sinks and a separate bath and shower. Room size approximately 52 sq m. Master Suite: The Print Room: The elegant and stately Master Suite is beautifully decorated with stippled turquoise walls, set with striking black and white classical decoupage prints and garlands. The walls are adorned with valuable paintings and prints and the room contains some very fine antiques including an Empire sofa in coral and a magnificent dining table. It overlooks the Knot garden where one can sit and enjoy breakfast, afternoon tea or a cocktail or perhaps dine beside the blazing fire. The king size gilded and padded bed is set in an alcove and strewn with cushions and lacy white linen.
