El Patio 77 is a colonial townhouse dating from 1891 that was fully and sympathetically renovated in 2009 to create Mexico City's first Eco-boutique bed and breakfast. Much of the flooring and furniture was made from recovered wood by local craftsmen. The property features solar water heaters.

El Patio 77 boutique bed and breakfast has 8 rooms and suites, each named after one of Mexico's most important states. All are decorated with antique furniture and Mexican popular art. Breakfast is served in the house's beautiful central courtyard. In keeping with the eco-friendly nature of the property, coffee is organic and the fruit seasonal.

El Patio 77 is ideally located for exploring Mexico City, as it is just three blocks from the San Cosme subway station, with direct links to the Zocalo, Mexico City Metropolitan Cathedral, the National Palace and many other museums and historic sites.
