Château du Bois Noir has just four luxurious double rooms, all elegantly furnished, spacious and decorated in an authentic Empire style. Rooms enjoy fabulous views of the gardens and parkland of the château. Breakfast is served in the dining room, or outdoors on the terraces. The château's restaurant, La Petite Châtelaine, serves a delicious three-course surprise dinner in the evenings, and reservation is recommended.

This charming room is located on the first floor and offers a view to the front of the Château and the park, and to the south. The room features majestic four metre-high ceilings, a fireplace with the original mantelpiece, classical furniture and velvet curtains. The room has indoor shutters on each window to keep the room cool during warm summer days. There is a luxurious en-suite bathroom with shower, hand basin and WC. Large 90 cm twin beds. Room size 27 sq m.
Napoleon III - Double Room:
This spacious room, located on the second floor, is ideal for families, and can be extended with the addition of the adjoining small children's room This room offers a view on the hilly scenery on the south side of the Château, and features Empire style decoration. The room has a luxurious en-suite bathroom with a shower, bath, toilet and double hand basin. One large double bed, one single bed in the children's room. Room size 27 sq m + 6,5 sq m child's room.
Louis XIV - Comfort Double Room:
This spacious room is situated on the first floor and offers views over the park to the west and north of the Château. The room has its own luxurious bathroom with shower, toilet and hand basin. The room features a spectacular four metre-high ceiling, a fireplace with its original mantelpiece, goblins on the walls and heavy velvet curtains. The room has indoor shutters to keep the room cool during warm summer days. One large double bed.

Marie-Antoinette - Superior Double Room:
This splendid suite is the largest of the four rooms of the Château, and is located on the first floor. It offers fine views of the parkland to the west and south of the Château. The suite has a luxurious en-suite bathroom with a large shower, a bath, his and hers basins and WC. Like the other rooms in the château, it has magnificent high ceilings, a period fireplace with an original mantelpiece, classical furniture, goblins on the walls and heavy velvet curtains. There is also a separate sitting area in the adjoining tower that also has a splendid view of the park and the surrounding landscape. One large double bed. Room size 40 sq m.

How to get here: From the north (Calais), Take A26 and A1 motorways towards Paris.
At Paris take the A3 - A86 and A10 in the direction of Bordeaux.
Take the A71 via Orléans and at Vierzon take exit A20.
Follow the A20 via Chateauroux, Limoges, Toulouse to Brive-La-Gaillarde.
Before Brive-La-Gaillarde, take exit 50 "Ouest de Brive" route D901 in the direction of Objat.
After 7 to 8 km, in the direction of Varetz and in the village of Burg turn left in the direction of Ayen/Yssandon on the D5.
After 9 km, turn left in the direction of Yssandon (after approx. 1,5 km from Burg, do not take the first exit to Yssandon, but the second).
Follow the D3 in the direction of Brignac la Plaine, following signs for "Bois Noir". After passing the "Bois Noir" sign you will see the château after approximately one hundred metres.
