Description: Palazzo SenecaStanding just a few short steps from the main square of Norcia, Palazzo Seneca is set in a painstakingly restored 16th century palace. Enjoying a privileged location in this delightful little town, this family-owned and run boutique establishment offers luxurious accommodation and gourmet dining in an incomparable historic setting.
Perhaps one of the most beautiful and unspoilt towns in the region, Norcia has preserved many of its historic buildings and sights intact, including the medieval walls, the church of St. Benedict, and the Castellina. Roman vestiges can also be observed throughout the town. Norcia's situation in the shadow of the Monti Sibillini National Park means that it is a haven for outdoor sport enthusiasts, with an immense number of trails and routes for hikers, trekkers and mountain bikers available close by.
Palazzo Seneca is home to a fine gourmet restaurant, the Vespasia, where the chef and his team create fabulous menus based on regional culinary traditions, the finest local ingredients - many from the hotel's own kitchen garden - and 150 years of family experience, all this in the splendid setting of the palace's magnificent dining hall. Guests can also take advantage of the basement Spa and Wellness centre, featuring a large hydro-massage bath, a Turkish bath, a sauna, and an extensive range of massages and treatments.
