Within easy reach of the port, with its ferry links to Sicily, the house is also perfect for exploring the rest of the island. After a short walk to the seafront, guests can take a water taxi to the Three Cities of Vittoriosa, Cospicua and Senglea, or charter a boat to the islands of Comino and Gozo.

Pride of place at Ursulino Valletta must surely go to the spectacular Roof Terrace, where guests can enjoy a delicious, wholesome breakfast, fine wines and aperitifs, all to the fabulous backdrop of the city's historic skyline and the Grand Harbour. In honour of Valletta's role as European Capital of Culture in 2018, Ursulino Valletta organises rolling art exhibitions in the public spaces of the house every two or three months, while the rooms and suites are adorned with a number of unique works from local and international artists.

82FIVE - Deluxe Twin/Double Room:
82FIVE is a Deluxe Twin/Double Room that leads guests through a short maze-like corridor typical of the eclectic design of traditional Valletta buildings. A tall and narrow window gives way to limited natural light from the internal courtyard, yet Ursulino Valletta's customary modern design, the contrast between the timber walls and the use of metal in the furnishing of the room, and of course the fact that the shower room is encased in a separate timber structure, all serve to give this room a very particular feel. 82ONE - Deluxe Double Room:
82ONE is a Deluxe Double Room that sits on the ground floor of the Townhouse. Ursulino Valletta's designers maintained the traditional feel of the townhouse within the room, creating a striking contrast between traditional and modern interiors through the use of timber panelling, custom-made steel elements, glass partitions and soft furnishings. The room benefits from direct access to an internal courtyard whose main feature is the traditional Maltese arched windows (hnejjiet). 82TWO - Deluxe Double Room:
82TWO on the 1st floor is another Deluxe Double Room accessible either via a modern elevator or using the traditional stone-cut staircase. The shower room facilities are spread along the back wall with modern-designed separate areas for shower, WC and dressing area. In this room the traditional ceiling was retained and a quaint balcony window looks down into the pretty courtyard, whilst the mix of modern vibrant-coloured fabrics contrasting the antique patterned tiles gives the room a particularly warm feel. 82THREE - Deluxe Double Room:
82THREE takes us to the 2nd floor of our Townhouse and features a Deluxe Double Room with Ursulino-standard custom-designed rooms with open shower facilities and a separate toilet closet. The traditional high ceiling is made of flagstones supported on period steel beams and all of this serves to give an added sense of "grandeur" to the room, which overlooks the tranquil internal courtyard. Being on the 2nd floor of a 5-storey building, the flow of natural light is noticeably more intense compared to the lower floors. Featured artist Caroline Said Lawrence. Sleeps two. 82SIX - Deluxe Double Room:
82SIX on the 3rd floor of the building is a particularly bright and airy Deluxe Double Room thanks to the ample flow of natural light into the room. The standard French-style balcony window overlooks the quaint internal courtyard, whilst the internal decor is again Ursulino Valletta's standard custom design using a mix of stone, timber, metal and fabric, resulting in a warm and cosy room with all modern amenities... amidst all of the surrounding history. Internal courtyard view. 82FOUR - Duplex Honeymoon/Family Suite:
82FOUR is our special Duplex Honeymoon/Family Suite: it has a lower living area leading into a meticulously-restored traditional Maltese Gallarija which overlooks the mystical St. Ursula Street as well as the Monastery of St Ursula opposite our Townhouse. A modern, folded steel-plate staircase leads up to a cosy Japanese-style bed, which sits into the timber flooring. The shower room facilities are encased into a separate room. The sofa on the lower level becomes a comfortable double bed to accommodate an additional 2 guests. Featured artist Caroline Said Lawrence. 82SEVEN - Triplex Penthouse Apartment Suite:
82SEVEN - The Penthouse Suite was conceived as a luxurious "home away from home" for guests wanting to treat themselves to an exclusive Valletta Grand Harbour experience. It is arranged over three levels: a sleeping area, a fully-equipped kitchen area, and to top it all off a modern glass-floored dining level overlooking the wonderful private terrace which gives guests 180-degree views of Grand Harbour. Ursulino Valletta's private chef service allows guests to enjoy private dining in the comfort of their own terrace - Valletta doesn't get any more exclusive than this!
