Hotel Verhaegen, a uniquely well preserved XVIII century private mansion, is conveniently located two streets away from the historical centre of Ghent. The famous Graslei, the best known quay of the medieval harbour, is only five minutes away, as is the vibrant city centre, with its many old specialized merchants' shops, or Patershol, the cosy XIV century quarter where you will find the most charming restaurants.

Every room has its own style and character, in which modern design is combined with carefully picked antiques. The impressive high ceiling rooms, with plush carpets, beautiful curtains and magnificent marble tables have been carefully decorated by its owners, interior designers Jan Rosseel and Marc Vergauwe, with attention to every detail to make you feel at home.
