Descripción: The Boatshed

Just thirty five minutes from the heart of Auckland, Waiheke Island is a world away, boasting some of the most beautiful beaches in New Zealand.

The Boatshed, overlooking little Oneroa, designed and owned by a well known Auckland designer, offers luxury accommodation in a relaxed island setting. Inspired by the early 1900 boatsheds that scatter the shores up and down New Zealand, and some of the most desirable homes and retreats internationally, the lodge offers just that, in the most unpretentious setting. Situated just five minutes from the ferry terminal, a few minutes from the beach and a gentle stroll to the island village. With intimate attention to detail, the building hosts accommodation in elegantly appointed traditional boatsheds, and the Lighthouse.

The Boatshed also offers excellent cuisine, fine New Zealand wines in a relaxed al fresco style. Dinner is a special occasion, and delicacies sourced daily with a focus on fresh, organic produce, succulent seafood and gourmet meat cuts. Any dietary requirements, festivities and special occasions can be catered for.

Boatshed and Bridge accommodation offers guests magnificent views over the bay from private balconies with lounging steamer chairs, they are north facing so capture all day sun.
The Bridge is similar in finish and fit out, but is a slightly larger and more private suite.
The three story Lighthouse Suite stands pride of place offering panoramic views from its own private top floor lounge, with full north and west opening sides.

All rooms are sumptuously fitted with bathroom amenities and heated floors, lounging area, superking/twin beds with cotton linen, robes and scuffs, complementary minibar* and hot beverage facilities, each one is fully entertainment and business integrated with personal audiovisual systems, along with email and Internet access. Beach amenities are provided including umbrella, sand mats & chairs, sunscreen, and of course magazines and mineral water!*non-alcoholic beverages only.The Island has a wealth of activities that can be tied into your function or event, from fishing, kayaking and coastal walks to vineyard tours, beauty therapy and gallery visits. Safety deposit at reception.The Boatshed is not suitable for children under 12 years of age.

Cancellations received with less than twenty one days notice are subject to the first nights' accommodation charge.
Cancellations received with less than seven days notice are subject to the entire booking as well as any dinner reservations. This will be charged to the credit card number obtained with your booking confirmation.
