Descripción: The Saxon HotelA calm oasis in the city of gold, set in six acres of lush landscape gardens, the Saxon has been designed to capture and embrace its natural environment.The welcoming entrance with stately staircase sweeps around a central glass dome, permitting natural light to blend with and enhance the contemporary African decor and handcrafted ethnic art artefacts. One of the design themes is the extensive use of water. The lattice shuttered suites, cool terraces and shaded gazebos adjoining both the heated lap pool and magnificent 920 square metre swimming pool, enhance the fully supervised gymnasium, steam rooms and Essence Skin and Body Salon. Workstations with multi telephone, fax and ISDN lines, provide an incomparable experience for the business traveller. The three Presidential Suites feature a separate lounge and dining area. The Mandela Suite is furnished to cater for the most discerning traveller. Children under 12 years of age are permitted by prior arrangement only. Children 16 years old and under are not allowed in the restaurant for breakfast, lunch or dinner. They will be served in the suite or at the terrace by the butlers. Dining: The restaurant offers a health menu to suit the most discriminating palates. The ambience of the dining room offers a "homey" atmosphere, boasting an exclusive and unique wine display. A brigade of world class chefs ensures personalised cuisine, catering for well travelled guests. The cocktail bar leads off the expansive pool terrace, koi pond and outdoor heated pool. Meetings: The Dining Library is used for either private dining or boardroom style conferencing. Two further boardrooms are available for executive conferencing for up to thirty delegates. Built-in computerised technology forms part of these conference venues, together with trained technical management on standby, assisting with your IT requirements. The twenty-six seat auditorium is equipped with the latest technology in projection and communication, ensuring quality presentations in luxury surrounds. No pets are allowed. |

| All rates are current and are subject to change without prior notification. The above rates are quoted in South African Rand, per suite per night and include VAT (Value Added Tax) of 14% and Tourism Levy. The above rates are inclusive of breakfast and the use of the Hydro facilities at the Saxon Spa and Studio. The rates do NOT include telephone, laundry, Saxon Spa and Studio treatments and gratuities. Cancellation policy for individual bookings: Full pre-payment is required 30 days prior to arrival. No cancellation fee will be charged should the booking be cancelled 48 hours prior to day of arrival. A 100% cancellation fee will be charged should the booking be cancelled less than 48 hours prior to day of arrival, or should the guest not arrive. Reservations will be automatically released if payment is not made within the specified period. Check-in: from 14h00 on day of arrival. Check-out: by 11h00 on day of departure for the convenience of arriving guests. The hotel is unable to accommodate more than 2 adults per room. Policies and prices may change and should be confirmed at booking. They recommend that you take out insurance against cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances. |
