This charming boutique hotel is housed in a traditional riad that was recently restored to offer 6 colourful rooms set around a central patio with a fountain and fruit trees. There are numerous shaded and comfortable lounges, plus a solarium with sun beds.

Traditional Moroccan meals are served either in the central courtyard or on the solarium. Cookery lessons and massage treatments are also available at the Hotel Riad Shaden, which offers guests an authentic experience in the heart of Marrakech, Morocco.

Suite Amir: 'Amir' means prince in Arabic and this impressive suite exudes an air of royalty with its colourful Moroccan tiles and ornate ceiling sculptures created by master craftsman.

Suite Ouarda: Beautiful romantic suite, Ouarda means rose in Arabic. Decorated in soft colours with a lounge area and a fireplace.

Chems Room: Warm yellow and orange room inspired by the sun.

Kais and Leila: Named after the Arabic equivalent of Romeo and Juliet, these two rooms are ideal for families. Located around the central patio, one is a double room, the other a twin.

Fayrouz: Named after a precious blue stone, this calm blue and white room contains examples of traditional Zouak art.
