The ancient fortified city of Essaouira is the setting for the Ocean Vagabond which is located just 100 m. from the beach and 200 m. from the Medina.

You are invited to this beautiful calm and restful residence by Marie and Sebastien who have created this "place of life" filled with the colours of the world.

The curved architecture seems as if posed on a wave, the panoramic windows allowing light to all the living rooms and the garden and pool await you for moments of relaxation and idleness.

The interior is furnished with charming simplicity using noble materials; Iroko woodwork and cedar furniture with marble and tadlakt in the bathrooms.

A cosy bar in African colonial style, a library and reading room as well as a living room in summer colours, a comfortable sky red reception together with the terrace with its 360º view of the bay and the Medina allow guests to have a choice of spaces and forms for comfort and evasion.

The beach restaurant serves local and Mediterranean cuisine based on seasonal produce of irreproachable freshness and the nautical base allow guests the possibility of a range of water sports with sheltered areas for sunbathing and socializing.

The Ocean Vagabond´s privileged position allows easy access to the historical and cultural sites of the city as well as to the Mogador islands archipeligo famed as the habitat of Eléonores falcons.

7 double rooms: Dogon, Pondichéry and Massaï, have sea views. Berber, Samouraí, Sahraoui and Geisha have a view of the Medina.

2 twin rooms: Inca and Maya, with sea view

4 mini suites: Felluca and Dugout have a sea view and Borneo and Bali have a view of the Medina.

1 suite: Jaipur, has sea view.

The 14 rooms are laid out on two floors each is individually decorated in pluri-ethnic original style which invite you on a journey; Dogon and Massaï are done in the hot colours of Africa, Felluca and Dugout in the turquoise blue of the oceans, Pondichéry and Jaipur in the colours of India. The cheerful and freshness of Latin America are reflected in Inca and Maya rooms, the natural colours of Indonesia in Borneo and Bali rooms, the local colours of Morocco in Berber and Sahraoui and the purified styles of Japan in the Geisha and Samurai rooms.
