Set on one of Lisbon´s most famous squares, Chiado 16 is a stone throw away from the Opera House, the main shopping district, the restaurant district and very near to the business centre and the airport. The historic centre, the Baixa, and the principal avenues date back to the 18th century when this area was completely rebuilt in the Parisian style. The hills surrounding the Baixa, Chiado, Alfama, & Bairro Alto have buildings from the 10th century. Don't miss St George's Castle, Mr Eiffel´s Elevator, or the cake factory in Belém.
