Description: Mast Farm InnThe historic Mast Farm Inn features not only inn rooms and dining rooms in the 1880s farmhouse, but also private getaway cottages for couples and families. A full gourmet breakfast is included for inn guests, and for others by prior arrangement.The inn's restaurant and bar are open to the public for dinner prepared by Chef Matt Johnston and his staff. The new Aunt Josie's Espresso and Wine Bar boasts a carefully selected list of fine wines and beers from North Carolina and around the world. Type of rooms: Mast Farm InnThere are 4 categories of the 8 rooms in the farmhouse:2 Deluxe Rooms, the largest rooms, feature a 4-poster king bed, 1 with soaking tub for 2. 3 Spacious Rooms with queen beds, some with gas fireplace. 2 Quaint Dormer Rooms with sloping ceilings and gas stoves. The Cozy Room features an antique queen rope bed, original bead-board paneling, spacious bath, and a claw-foot tub. 7 private gateway cottages. Additional information: Mast Farm InnSome rooms have whirlpools, most have AC, and there is one accommodation with TV. There is limited laundry service. Children of all ages are welcome in the seven cottages. The farmhouse rooms are reserved for adults and children 12 and over. One of the new cottages, the Gazebo Cottage, is wheelchair accessible, as are the restaurants; Aunt Josie's Bar, and Nooks and Crannies and the gift shop. The restaurant features fresh, organic, contemporary, regional cuisine. Terrace and fireside dining are specialities of the house. The dining schedule varies seasonally. Please see the Restaurant Page on the hotel website for full details. The inn and restaurant are smoke-free, including outside dining areas on the porch and terrace. For special occasions: up to 75 guests can be accommodated in the restaurant for an afternoon buffet reception in warm weather when guests can spill out onto the wraparound porch and terrace. The largest dining room can accommodate up to 28 people. Reservations are recommended. |

| A deposit of at least one night's stay is required at the time of the reservation. Cancellations or changes must be made at least two weeks in advance. Holiday, peak seasons, and large bookings may require nonrefundable deposits and longer cancellation periods. A cancellation fee of $25 per bedroom applies to cancellations at any time, for any reason. Nightly lodging rates include a full breakfast and are based on double occupancy, unless otherwise indicated. A charge of $25 is added for each additional person over 2 (or in the largest cottages, 4). In the Raspberry Hill Cottage, a Weekly Cabin Rental is possible. Such a weekly rental does not include breakfast (available at additional charge) or daily maid service. A cleaning fee at the end of the rental also applies. Please contact the hotel for details. Rates vary seasonally: A minimum stay is sometimes required for advanced reservations on weekends, holidays, or peak seasons. Please inquire.
