The resort occupies 400 acres, complete with its own private beach along Playa Palenque. Las Rocas restaurant is the onsite offering a beachfront gastronomic experience. Alongside the beach is the hotel’s infinity pool plus a lounge bar and multiple sunbeds and hammocks. The Resort at Isla Palenque consists of eight beachfront casitas which are tucked behind lush palm trees and have direct access to the waters. The casitas offer all the luxury of a five-star hotel blended with the serenity of a tropical island.

The Island and the resort offer a wide range of activities to explore the stunning sceneries of Panama. Yoga classes are offered onsite in addition to kayak, paddleboard, and snorkeling equipment. Island hoping is one of the most sought-after activities of Panama and is easily done from the hotel which include exploring the jungles, culture, and history of the land.

Type of rooms: The Resort at Isla Palenque

The casitas of the resort are set along Playa Palenque and feature both indoor and outdoor living spaces. They each have a private bath directing guests to the beach and many other luxuries.

Casitas: All eight casitas have a king bed, ceiling fans and air conditioning, dual closet, open-air soaking tubs, organic toiletries, bathrobes, French press for coffee, tea making facilities, stocked minibar with local juices, beer, and snacks, private garden, sunbeds and hammocks, Wi-Fi, binoculars, water bottles, yoga equipment, and housekeeping services twice daily. The Casitas are 65 sqm and only 25 meters from the private beach. Extra beds can be added to the casitas for a maximum occupancy of two adults and two children.

Beachfront Villa Estate: The other option for a luxury setting for a large group of guests is the Beachfront Villa Estate. The villa is located on Playa Primera and features six suites and rooms to accommodate up to 14 guests. It has its own private pool and sundeck with lounge chairs and other outdoor bathing options. Homestyle meals are organized at the villa as well.
Villa Garden Room: The garden room in the villa has a private outdoor shower and a queen bed.
Villa Jungle Rooms: There are three rooms of this type with queen beds and views of the rain forest from the floor-to-ceiling windows.
Villa Ocean Suites: The ocean suites face the sunrise over the sea and feature king beds. They can also accommodate a third bed.
