Amongst the finest rooms in the house, the two suites, Blackdene and Whiteheaps are located in the Miner's Cottages. With views overlooking Blanchland Square, and with their own front door, lounge, and a roaring log fire to boot, it's a true taste of country living. Purpose-built with family in mind; escape at the end of the day to the Miner's Cottage suite 'Jeffries Rake'. How to get here: From the south, turn left at Junction 58 off the A1(M) onto the A68 and continue through the hills. At Carterway Heads, turn left onto the B6278 and continue onto the B6306, following signs for Blanchland.
From the north, take the A68 all the way to the lovely Roman town of Corbridge and at Kiln Pit Hill turn right onto the B6306, and follow signs for Blanchland.
