Aside from the village of Blanchland itself, nearby attractions include the Roman town of Corbridge, and the historic city of Durham. With a number of unique dining venues, the Lord Crew Arms takes great pride in its robust modern British menu, based on the finest, locally sourced and seasonal produce, with fruit and vegetables from the hotel's kitchen garden. The vaulted crypt bar is also a unique spot for drinks and pub food, and serves a magnificent range of beers, wines and spirits, specialising in locally brewed artisanales. Champion Room: A champion room is the epitome of understated countryside luxury. The perfect setting for bubbles and robes, offering true Northumberland chic. In addition to all standard facilities, these rooms come with a Bluetooth music station and a Nespresso coffee machine. Suite: Amongst the finest rooms in the house, the two suites, Blackdene and Whiteheaps are located in the Miner's Cottages. With views overlooking Blanchland Square, and with their own front door, lounge, and a roaring log fire to boot, it's a true taste of country living.
