As part of the Tunku Abdul Rahman National Park islands, Palau Gaya is an unspoilt paradise, with dense, virgin tropical forest and thriving coral reefs. Guests at Bunga Raya can enjoy a wide range of outdoor activities, including guided jungle trekking, kayaking and snorkelling, or scuba diving with a PADI dive centre. Guests can also visit the Marine Ecology Research Centre, attached to the property's sister Gayana Eco Resort. Bunga Raya has a number of dining options, including the Pantai Grill, set right on the sand close to the water's edge, and the Koi, the resort's main restaurant. Both restaurants offer panoramic views of the bay and the ocean, while the Wine Cave is a cosy, cool spot for quiet drinks or private dining. There are also several function rooms located above the Koi restaurant, ideal for weddings, banquets or exclusive business events.

Dotting the hillside scaling up towards the centre of the island, these spacious one-bedroom villas present an appealing mix of quiet privacy and either views of lush tropical jungle or the ocean. Plunge Pool Villa:
These villas offer serene views of the beach and sea from the edge of the private plunge pool and open deck balcony. Complete with deck chairs for lounging and an indulgent bathtub for freshening up in a spacious bathroom. Room size 87 sq m.
Treehouse Villa:
Designed for guests interested in a little more than the usual dose of privacy, the Treehouse Villa is perfect for honeymooners and couples. A jungle walkway leads to an ascent a romantic haven, partially hidden by trees. Deluxe Villa:
The Deluxe Villas provide views of both the jungle and the ocean, and owing to the extra space are ideal for small families or groups of friends. A separate living room extension is equipped with a second entertainment system, making for a simple way to simulate the leisurely pleasures of home.
