The imposing church Hallgrímskirkjase has become one of the icons of the city. Designed in the 80s of the twentieth century, it is in expressionist style and was inspired by basaltic lava flows. At almost 75 m high, it is the tallest building in the entire country. From its viewpoint you will enjoy 360º panoramic views over the city. The northern lights are another attraction of Iceland.
