The Palais Coburg Hotel is housed in the former palace of Duke Ferdinand of Saxe-Coburg & Gotha. Built in 1840 by the architect Karl Schleps, the Palais Coburg Hotel has a Neo-Classical façade with imposing freestanding columns forming the central section.

The Palais Coburg was completely restored and refurbished in 2003 to provide a luxury boutique hotel in the heart of Vienna. The Palais Coburg Hotel contains 35 luxury suites, 9 magnificent function rooms, a gourmet restaurant, exclusive bar, garden pavilion and a spa.

Furnishings are in the Empire style or Directoire style.

Palais: The Palais Suites are on the first and second floors with views over the Palais gardens. They offer a living area, bedroom, bathroom, in some instances with a whirlpool bath or an extra-large tub, well-appointed kitchen and guest WC. The furnishings are in the 18th century French and Italian style (Louis XVI/Directoire).

City: The City Suites are on the first and third floors with views over the old city centre. They include a living room, bedroom, luxurious bathroom, kitchen and guest WC. The furnishings are in cherry wood.

Modern: The Modern suites are situated on the third and attic floor with views over the rooftops. They have a contemporary design and are named after their main feature: Loft, Penthouse, Wintergarten (Conservatory) and Patio.
