		The Hotel Gerbermühle is situated 3 kilometres outside of Frankfurt in a picturesque location on the banks of the River Main. This former tannery mill became the summer residence of Frankfurt banker Johann Jakob von Willemer, where the poet and philosopher Goethe was a frequent guest in the early 19th Century. In 2007, the Hotel Gerbermühle was rebuilt and extended by the architects Muller & Jourdan. The result is a blend of authentic historic features with modern interiors and contemporary art. The Hotel Gerbermühle houses 19 rooms and suites, an exclusive restaurant, an atmospheric bar and beautiful winter gardens with views across the river to the Frankfurt skyline.
