The Jurassic Coast, a Natural Heritage of Humanity, includes more than 150 km of coastline with coves and wonderful beaches. Durdle Door is a natural arch of stone emblem of the area.
Exeter, capital of Devon, is one of the oldest cities in Britain. Its Roman walls, the Gothic cathedral and an environment of green countryside are highlights. Torquay is known as the English Riviera because of its famous beaches and exuberant vegetation, thanks to a unique microclimate.
