Uniquely situated high on a mountainside, yet only 45 minutes from the capital, Hotel Glymur overlooks the scenic Hvalfjorfur, the whales fjord. At the end of this fjord is Glymur, one of the highest waterfalls in Europe.

Hotel Glymur has a beautiful restaurant, a fully equipped conference hall, twenty-two well appointed and comfortable rooms with fantastic views and two Suites. There are also 6 Holiday Homes /Cabins /Villas.

Glymur features 22 Executive Rooms, 2 Suites and 6 Cabins.
The Executive Rooms were completely re-designed in beginning of 2006. Every room has plenty of space and an en suite bathroom. The rooms are on two floors with bathroom, desk and sofas on first floor and bed on second floor. All rooms have high speed wireless Internet access, flat screen TV, telephone, and a coffee machine.

Suite Guðríðarstofa: A 37 square meter suite with a massage bath tub, 20" flat screen TV, adjustable beds with massage, espresso machine and stereo equipment (CD and radio). Named after the famous 16th century poet's wife.

Suite Hallgrímsstofa: A 46 square meter suite with a massage bath tub, 20" flat screen TV in the bedroom and a 28" TV in the living room, adjustable beds with massage, espresso machine and stereo equipment (CD and radio). Named after a famous 16th century poet that lived in the church down by the hotel.

Glymur Resort offers 6 different themed luxury cabins on location. Each of them is 70-80 sq.meters (700-800 sq.feet) with accommodation for up to 6 people, a fully equipped kitchen, wifi etc. The cabins are also an excellent choice for meetings and working sessions, brainstorming, family gathering or just more relaxing luxury.
