Descripción: Vigilius Mountain Resort

In purest crisp Alpine air, 1,500m above sea level, the Vigilius Mountain Resort is accessible only by cable car. No roads, no traffic, no noise. An exclusive refuge for a fortunate few.

"Organic architecture" played a primary role in the creation process. The materials selected: wood and glass, are from renewable resources that make use of the warmth of sunlight. In addition, all rooms and suites are outfitted with a clay partition wall, which stores warmth and moderates the room temperature and a biomass plant, CO2 neutral and extremely eco-friendly, fuels the Vigilius Mountain Resort.

Integrating the already present, unspoiled nature into the overall appearance of the exterior as well as the interior was an important concept. Existing elements, such as wooden structural members from a 300-year-old barn, were integrated into the building. Celebrating and preserving the beauty of nature was the main objective in the architectural planning.

There are two restaurants: one modern, and the other traditional. The gourmet restaurant called "1500" features elaborate mediterranean culinary copositions that are light, select and elegant. The restaurant "Ida" features hearty South Tyrolean delicacies that are Down-to-earth yet refined.

Activities include: summer mountain biking, nordic walking, hiking, Archery, or Boccia. Winter Snow shoeing, tobogganing, sleigh rides, ice-skating, cross- country skiing, and alpine skiing. There are also two personal trainers available for general fitness.
Spa: Various beauty and relaxation treatments are available as well as a pool and whirlpool.

Satelite TV is available on request, as are babysitters. Pets are limited to dogs.
