Standing in six hectares of magnificent grounds, Château de la Resle is a spectacular mansion originally built between the 17th and 19th centuries. The château has recently undergone a thorough and extensive restoration and modernisation, and now combines unique period architecture with modern décor and furnishings. This charming boutique property offers exclusive bed and breakfast accommodation in a delightful rural setting.

Located in the heart of the Burgundy countryside, but just a fifteen minute drive from the centre of Auxerre, Château de la Resle is the perfect spot for relaxing visits to this beautiful region. Historic monuments at Auxerre itself, Vezelay, Noyers, fascinating châteaux, wine routes, charming towns and villages, fabulous landscapes, the Yonne has everything. Visitors can enjoy hiking or cycling beside the Nivernais canal, balloon flights or golf, among many other options. Within the château itself, guests can stroll in the ornamental gardens and splendid grounds, or just relax by the pool with a good book. A full range of treatments and massages and treatments are also available in the newly inaugurated Spa and Wellness centre, which features a sauna, steam bath and an exercise room.

Breakfast at Château de la Resle is served in the delightful summer salon, and in warm weather, in the garden. On request, the château's expert chef serves light lunches and table d'hôtes dinners on certain days of the week, and exclusive local gastronomic products are also available for sale. The château also organises art and design exhibitions in its uniquely renovated public areas.

Irancy Room:
This spacious, comfortable room is located in one of the wings of the château and has views of the park. The antique cupboard is now used for the mini-bar, a kettle and a Nespresso machine. One king-size bed (180x200cm). Room size 35 sq m.
Chablis Room:
The Chablis Room is located in one of the wings of the château, and offers fine views over the valley of Montigny la Resle and the early morning sunrise. A unique antique cupboard hides the mini-bar, a kettle and a Nespresso machine. One queen-size bed (160x200cm). Room size 35 sq m.
Saint Bris Suite:
This cosy, spacious suite is located on the upper floor of the château, under the slate roof, and offers fabulous views on all sides. It features a separate living room with a sofa, flat-screen TV with satellite channels, DVD player, and an iPod docking station. There is also a fully equipped kitchenette, mini-bar, kettle and Nespresso machine. The en-suite bathroom comes with a large rain shower, double basins, WC and bidet. One queen-size bed.

Fontenay Suite - Vezelay Suite:
These two spacious suites are located in the newly restored farmhouse of the château. Both suites are arranged on two floors, connected with a unique spiral staircase. The downstairs living room has a cosy seating area, with an antique cupboard and a flat-screen TV, iPhone docking station, Nespresso machine and mini-bar. The upper floor features a large bedroom, with a king-size bed, and an open bathroom in a highly contemporary design, with a bathtub, rain-shower, twin basins, WC and bidet. Both suites have views of the courtyard and the heated outdoor swimming pool. Suite size 75 sq m.
Noyers Suite:
The Noyers suite is a family suite offering enough space on two floors for a couple and two extra persons. This suite has independant access, a living and dining room and a fully equipped kitchen. Set in the 17th century caretaker's house, in the courtyard of the château, the upper floor hosts the bedroom with a king-size bed, a dressing room and an en-suite bathroom with shower, basin and WC. The living area is located on the first floor, and features a fully equipped kitchen, a mini-bar, kettle and Nespresso machine, a living and dining room with an extra sofa-bed for a maximum of two children, and a second toilet. Suite size 125 sq m.
