Stroll the narrow old cobblestoned streets and discover the classical 12th century castle with its own dungeon! Experience the Avignon Festival, the wine cellars of Chateau Neuf du Pâpe, Nimes, the Gard Bridge, the Baux de Provence, the Luberon, and other exceptional places.

With just 6 bedrooms, this rural country Inn offers individually personalised service and accommodation. Just a 5 minute drive from the motorway, 15 minutes from both the TGV rail station and from the town of Avignon, Apres La Sieste is conveniently located and has private car parking.

Avignon (20km away): City of Popes with its palace and its famous "Pont D'Avignon". Premier Theatre Festival in the month of July.

The Bridge of the Gard (30km): This is the most visited monument in France, the best preserved of the Roman aqueducts.

Baux de Provence (45km): At the heart of Massif des Alpilles, one of the most beautiful places in Provence, this village, set majestically on a rocky spur, overlooks the valley of the Baux, which is covered with thousands of olive trees.

Uzès (30km): Uzès is the first dukedom of France. If you visit on a Saturday, you can enjoy the market, one of the most famous in the South of France.

Arles (70km): Arles is well known for its festivals (called feris) and is an interesting stop if you are spending a day in the Camargue

The Luberon (70km): is a superb nature park; a country of Rousillion shades of ochre, a kingdom of Gordes stone.

Sautadet Falls (20km): A very beautiful site near the house, you can enjoy it if visiting La Roque du Cèze, an adorable village, and going as far as the Grotto of l'Aven d'Orgnac.

The Camargue (70km): Marvel at the beauty of nature in the wild. Walk in the country of horses, flamingos and bulls. Take a horse ride on the beach, an unforgettable memory!

The Calanques (115km): Ideal for spending a day by the sea. It's a coastline torn apart by abrupt cliffs which jets out into the deep blue Mediterranean. It's also a great place for diving or climbing.

The Ardèche Gorges (60km): Discover the gorges on canoe or kayak. You could also do climbing or cycling or donkey riding.

Booking and cancellation policy

DEPOSIT: The reservation is confirmed upon receipt of non-refundable deposit: Amount of the 1st night or of first 2 nights for stays of 5 days or more. Payment by cheque or cash.

On Thursdays and Sundays, evening meals are served if there is a minimum of 8 participants. The meals are, therefore, reflected on those nightly rates with 31 Euros added per person per night (or 39 Euros per person per night for wine and coffee with the meal).

Price in Euros per night, per room for two people with breakfast included.
