They are quaint and cozy while bringing you to a different era to experience the rich background of the town. Amanhavis is just five kilometers from the heart of Costa del Sol and its fantastic beaches. The flashy streets and dreamy shops of Marbella are also a short distance away. Golf enthusiasts will rave at the 70 golf courses surrounding the hotel, and culture lovers will be enriched from the many towns nearby. Type of rooms: AmanhavisAmanhavis is complete with nine different room themes while consistently providing modern amenities and all the comforts of today’s travels. Each room features air conditioning, private bathroom, tea and coffee making facilities, minibar, safe, TV, hairdryer, Wi-Fi, bathrobes, ironing facilities, toiletries, and heating.Standard Rooms: The Monastery’s Sanctuary: This standard room of 25 sqm represents the medieval times of Spain when Monks and Nuns were of most importance. With this theme in mind, the room is decorated in a spiritual way with pews and angels, niches and quiet areas. The room has a double bed. The Philosopher’s Study: Philosophy was a controversial topic during the medieval era. This double room looks into where a philosopher might escape to, filled with books and cozy places to read. The Spice Trader’s Caravan: In this room of natural calming stone guests will find colours and scents of warm spices plus oriental ornaments and figures representing the quests from the past. It is a double room with a double bed in 25 sqm. Superior Rooms: The Horse Thief’s hide out: This room of 32 sqm and twin beds is found via a rusty trap door to expose a hideaway filled with Jewellery, souvenirs, coins, and a picture of trusted horses. The Christopher Columbus Berth: The room resembles that of an explorer, filled with large maps, souvenirs, and ships names engraved in the wooden furniture. It has views of Andalucia and all what is to discover. The Alchemist’s Laboratory: Surrounding by naturally white stone, this room depicts the story of turning metals into something more precious. The twin beds are engraved with small jewels and gems. Deluxe Rooms: The Sultan Boabdil’s Chamber: The deluxe room of 39 sqm is decorated in Moorish style to pay tribute to the last Sultan of the region. There are silk canopies over the beds and Moroccan furniture throughout the room, all in the tower of the building. The Catholic King’s Royal Quarters: This romantic room represents the time of Ferdinand V. It has a canopy bed with crowns and portraits sculpted into the surrounding furniture, and many windows to view the scenery. The Astronomer’s Observatory: In the other tower of the hotel is where the Astronomer’s Observatory can be found.
