Standing in a painstakingly restored traditional 18th century rural dwelling, Le Coffret Design House enjoys a delightful location in a quiet hamlet in the Val d'Aosta. Overlooking the valley and offering guests magnificent views of the mountain landscape, Le Coffret Design House is a boutique guest house providing luxurious accommodation in an authentic, friendly atmosphere.

Just eight kilometres from the cable cars leading to the Pila ski resort, one of the most important ski areas in the region, Le Coffret Design House is ideal for winter sports lovers. Pila has 70 kilometres of runs, and there are facilities for downhill and cross-country skiing, snowboard, ski-touring with expert guides, and even heliski. Summer visitors are equally spoilt for choice, with horse riding, golf, trekking and mountaineering and mountain biking among the outdoor activities available in the area. For guests interested in historic sites, many of the famous castles of the Aosta Valley are within easy reach of the property, including Fénis, Issogne, and the spectacular fortress of Verrès. Gastronomic highlights include cheese tastings and wine trails.

Le Coffret Design House has just six luxurious rooms, all individually decorated and furnished, combining traditional stone and wood elements with modern furniture and design features. All rooms have fully equipped en-suite bathrooms.

Quattro:
Set in the attic, the smallest bedroom is charming and cosy like just wood and stone places can be.
Uno:
The brightness of white and mirrors contrasts pleasantly with the naturalness of wood and stone.
Due:
Inside, pure contemporary design: through the wide glass wall, the view opens up to history and to the external stone wall dating from 700.
Tre:
A charming atmosphere, with the original fireplace hood which used to heat the whole house, contrasting with the minimalism of the Ghost bed.
Cinque:
Here space dominates, with stairs leading to a small loft, with the wide glass wall opening up to typical alpine architectures.
Sei:
The century-old stones of the old cowshed have become design elements with evocative light and shade contrasts. This room is on the ground floor and is also equipped and suitable for disabled guests.
