Giaconda:
The Giaconda room at Villa Bertagni is like the painting, calm and enigmatic. Behind the famous woman, a vast landscape with winding paths recedes to icy mountains. This similar landscape is seen from the French doors of this lovely room in shades of light and dark, and an overall feeling of calmness permeates the space. Heavy curtains, crystal chandeliers and beautiful décor are part of this lovely room with an intimate bathroom all done in travertine stone. Catalina:
The Catalina room at Villa Bertagni bridges the tempestuous with the tranquil, the blue seas and the secret mountains. A beautiful secluded room with a 19th century headboard, the tones here are like sea and mountain; blue in the bathroom to remember one's travels across the sea, earth in the bedroom to relax and recall the landscape of dreams. Serafina:
Serafina of Villa Bertagni is located at the top floor of this 300 year old house, where the spectacular views of the valley and mountains remind one of the secrets this woman held in her heart. The entrance is though a foyer with an eighteenth century armoire filled with art books; then you enter this enchanted room with its ancient 'pietra serena' fireplace and a bed made for queens, heavy curtains in the earth tone colours of Tuscany, and an enormous crystal chandelier. The bathroom seems taken directly from a novel of ancient Rome with a stand-alone bathtub where guests can sink into bubbles of intimacy. One king-size bed (180 x 200 cm). Room size 30 sq m.
Lucrezia:
Lucrezia at Villa Bertagni is a royal room, full of passion, as befits the bearer of its name, with a stunning four-poster bed reminiscent of the stories that evolved around the sensual and beautiful woman of this time. The entrance to the room is through a lobby where a huge chandelier invites lovers, who arrive for a few days, to enter a sanctuary with stunning views of Tuscany. The room has a sitting area in the style of the renaissance and the finest Italian coffee to be found. The bathroom, with its glass double doors was designed in the ancient Roman style, and there is also an indulgent free-standing luxurious bath equipped with all the best amenities, a large walk-in shower and a crystal chandelier which turns all colours into magic. Delfina:
The crisp mountain air welcomes guests with the scent of spring or the scent of snow before the storm on opening the windows overlooking the valley. Featuring a beautiful crystal chandelier, there is also a king-size bed, heavy curtains and an 18th century lamp on an antique dresser, all illuminated in soft tones. The luxurious bathroom with a free standing bathtub, walk-in shower and marble tops, sets the background for an unforgettable experience. Every detail was a response to the music of the mountains. Ginerva:
Ginerva is a large garden suite fit to inspire poetry. It is a room to write a novel in, and recall the great sonnets while reclining on the chaise-longue. The bed's headboard is a 19th century carved wooden wonder in subtle shades of green, overlooking a large and luxurious bathroom, with huge double mirrors and ancient Roman reliefs. The suite has an extension with a sofa which can become an area for children with an extra shower-bathroom. One king size bed (200 x170 cm.), one double sofa bed. Up to four guests.
