Standing in seven acres of gardens and woodland, in the heart of the South Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, White Lodge Luxury B&B is set in an avant-garde design villa, originally built in 1965. After a thorough renovation and restoration in 2014, this unique property now offers boutique bed and breakfast accommodation in an intimate, friendly atmosphere and an idyllic, rural setting.

Just over ten kilometres from Glyndbourne, and a fifteen minute drive from historic Lewes, White Lodge Luxury B&B is the perfect spot for opera-lovers and outdoor enthusiasts alike. The South Downs is replete with fabulous walks and cycle routes, while the Cuckmore Valley, Brighton and Eastbourne are also within easy reach. On site, guests can roam the delightful gardens, or enjoy tea and cakes on the spectacular first floor sun terrace.

White Lodge Luxury B&B has just three luxuriously appointed rooms, featuring comfortable Dunlopillo beds with goose down and feather duvets and pillows plus designer cotton linens. Furnishings are a careful blend of unique vintage items and modern, custom made pieces. Guests can choose from delicious continental, or carefully cooked light or traditional English breakfasts, featuring home-made breads, jams and marmalade, accompanied by the finest fresh, locally sourced produce.

Copse:
Copse is a spacious ground floor room with garden views and a king-size bed (160 cm). It comes with a luxury en-suite bathroom with large walk-in shower. Tea, coffee and home-made cakes are offered on arrival. Room size 21 sq m.
Spinney:
This is a large room on the first floor with views across the garden, great for watching wildlife from the super king-size bed (180 cm). It comes with a modern en-suite bathroom with a large walk-in shower, and also features a seating area with comfortable arm-chairs for reading or watching TV. It also has tea/coffee making facilities, and home-made cakes are offered on arrival. Room size 28 sq m.
Woodland:
Large first floor room with far-reaching views into the 6 acre wood. Super king-size bed (180 cm). This room features a modern en-suite bathroom with large walk-in shower, and comes with a comfortable seating area with cosy armchairs for reading or watching TV. It has tea and coffee making facilities, and home-made cakes are offered on arrival. Room size 32 sq m.
