Located in the charming market town of Corsham, just over twelve miles from Bath, The Methuen Arms is set in a historic 18th century inn, reputedly built on the foundations of a 14th century nunnery. After a change of ownership in 2011, its present owners, Martin and Debbie Still embarked on a thorough and careful renovation, at a cost of over a million pounds. This award-winning property now offers top-class, honest cuisine in a number of unique bars and dining venues, along with luxurious accommodation in fourteen bespoke rooms.

Due to its proximity to Bath, The Methuen Arms is ideally placed for exploring the city and this charming corner of Wiltshire. Corsham itself boasts a number of attractions, including its historic centre town centre and Corsham Court.

One of the ''raisons d'être'' of The Methuen Arms has to be fine food. Chef Piero Boi, with extensive experience at such renowned eateries as Harvey's, Bibendum, the Square and Conran's Sartoria, creates delicious menus based on the finest fresh, locally sourced produce and his English and Sardinian roots. Cuisine is honest and unfussy, and is accompanied by an excellent wine list. Dining can be enjoyed in a number of venues, featuring open fireplaces and unique antique and vintage furnishings.

Like all rooms in the hotel, they feature 100% egyptian cotton sheets, luxurious blankets, flat-screen TV and an old-style Roberts DAB radio, mini-bar and coffee making facilities and internet access. Most of the bathrooms have large bathtubs, separate rain-forest showers with Still Bath & Body, and luxurious towels and bathrobes.
Double Lux Room:
The luxury rooms have super king-size original four-poster beds, roll top baths and ample space. Like all rooms in the hotel, they feature 100% egyptian cotton sheets, luxurious blankets, flat-screen TV and an old-style Roberts DAB radio, mini-bar and coffee making facilities and internet access. Most of the bathrooms have large bathtubs, separate rain-forest showers with Still Bath & Body, and luxurious towels and bathrobes.
Family Double Room:
The Family Double Rooms feature 100% Egyptian Cotton Sheets, luxurious blankets, a flat-screen TV and an old-style Roberts DAB radio, a mini-bar, coffee-making facility and internet access. Most of the bathrooms large big bathtubs, separate rain-forest showers with Still Bath & Body and luxurious towels. These rooms come with one large double bed and two bunk beds.
