Description: Timbrell's YardLocated in the heart of the historic town of Bradford-on-Avon, Timbrell's Yard is set in a grade II listed heritage building, originally built in the 18th century for the owner of the adjoining dye works. After a number of uses and proprietors, the house was lovingly restored in 2015 by its present owners, and now offers cosy accommodation and great food in a friendly, welcoming atmosphere.
Just footsteps from many of Bradford-on-Avon's most important landmarks, including the Town Bridge and Lock-up, the Saxon Church, the Tithe Barn, and the Shambles, among many other fascinating sights, Timbrell's Yard is perfect for relaxing stays in this charming historic town. Bath is just a short drive away, and boat trips on the Avon are available between April and October. The fourteen individually styled rooms feature quirky decorative finds, vintage treasures and traditional elements combined with contemporary aesthetics, creating a unique, cosy atmosphere.
Cuisine at Timbrell's Yard is in the expert hands of chefs Tom Blake and Ricky Ford, and guests can enjoy delicious, simple, freshly prepared food, based on the finest West Country ingredients and produce. The bar is a great place to relax with a drink from the excellent selection of beer and ales, fine wines, cider and cocktails. Tea and coffee, light meals and snacks are served throughout the day.

Small Double Room 2nd Floor - 102:
A pretty antique king-sized bed framed with metal pin-pricked wall shades fashioned from a vintage Italian chandelier set the tone for this cosy room with an en-suite shower. Views overlook the river.
Standard Rooms (206, 207 & 208):
Outlook may be restricted but what these rooms lack in view they make up for in chic simplicity. Relaxation and comfort remains paramount, with super-king beds that split into twins, retro wicker furnishings and stylish wallpapered and panelled walls. En-suite Shower room.
Medium Double Ist Floor - 102:
High ceilings, original stripped beams and two large picture windows with seating and views across the river, this bedroom has a comfortable king-sized bed and an en-suite shower room.
Medium Double 2nd Floor - 105:
Heavy ceiling beams dominate this attractive period white-washed room, featuring a comfy king-sized bed set against a larch-clad wall. With painted panelled en-suite and views overlooking the river and church-spire, this room is one for romantics.
River Walk Rooms (301, 302 & 303):
Sitting adjacent to the picturesque River Avon are the three newly created River Walk bedrooms. Combining contemporary styling with vintage touches and quirky artworks to create comfortable and interesting living space. Each room offers a separate casual seating area where guests can sit and soak up the tranquil view over the water or alternatively enjoy a relaxing interlude with a complementary coffee or tea in front of the wide-screen TV. With king-sized beds and a large wet room shower en-suites, these three rooms provide the perfect space for a relaxing and informal stay.
Large Double - Room 103:
Stylish and romantic, Bedroom 103 features larch-clad and white-washed walls, an original French antique king-sized bed and a cast iron claw-footed bath in the bedroom. Double aspect windows allow light to flood in and cushioned window seats offer views across the river and over the rooftops of the town.
Large Double - Room 106:
With its larch-clad walls, ceiling beams and free-standing double-ended roll-top bath from which to enjoy river views, this superior suite is adorned with antique finds and pretty decorative features. A huge, super-king Manhattan-style platform bed dominates the room and offers a sanctuary for weary travellers or those looking to spend a relaxing or romantic night away from the hassle of everyday life.
Large Room (205):
This bedroom sits alongside the River Avon in the old gym building. Natural light flows through large picture windows which span the full width of this Large bedroom with heavenly views of the church spire directly ahead. A sumptuous super-king bed can be split into a twin leaving space for an additional single bed, if required. En-suite shower room.
Mezzanine Double Rooms (201, 202, 203 & 204):
Stylish and contemporary, these light and airy split-level suites boast king-sized beds and a fresh, light-hearted décor. They are all at 1st floor level and sit alongside the River Avon in a conversion of the old gym. Soft merino wool cushions, modern Scandinavian-styled furniture and natural woven textiles provide a relaxed and paired back living space. All rooms are equipped to the same high standards with refreshments and an en-suite shower rooms.
